Procedural nomination. Part of this article was split into List of cancelled video game system and accessories and that was deleted following discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of cancelled video game system and accessories. Although I was the sole person to support the deleted article, consensus was overwhelmingly to delete it and the reasons cited for deletion seem to apply equally to the entire article so I am nominating it for discussion also. I am neutral.
There are also a number of other sub-pages to consider:
- List of video games cancelled for Xbox consoles (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- List of video games cancelled for Nintendo consoles (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- List of video games cancelled for Sega consoles (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
- List of video games cancelled for PlayStation consoles (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)

- Redirect. After reviewing the previous AfD, I believe the best course of action is to replace this page and the four subpages with redirects to Category:Cancelled video games.
Merge these five lists together. I agree, five lists is overkill, but I'd think that it would make more sense to keep the generic list and merge in the more specific ones, seeing as the generic one could contain all of the same information.Epass (talk) 12:02, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- For the avoidance of doubt, the nomination was not concerned with the number of lists but the quality of their content (see the previous AfD for the criticism of the deleted content; the same criticisms seem to apply to what's left). I42 (talk) 12:15, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete Part of those games was released on other consoles instead. Also it's mostly unsourced.--Robixen (talk) 02:16, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete Largely unsourced. Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. -- Jelly Soup (talk) 21:42, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - an unmaintainable list, and one that's easily covered with Category:Cancelled video games. Poor sourcing - but if each individual article covered the sourcing of the cancellation and we have the category then everything is covered, making this and any sub-articles totally unnecessary. --Teancum (talk)
- Keep Not unmaintainable, since it should be limited too the ones we have articles for. It wassuggested a category would do, but a list is obfviously better since it can include some context about the platform and date and produced. DGG ( talk ) 16:57, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete: largely an unsourced OR-magnet. Even for the minority of games for which we do have an article, those articles are more likely to discuss which architectures games did eventuate rather than those that were cancelled (e.g. Crash Bandicoot (series) makes no mention of the cancellation of the "Nintendo 64, Sega Saturn and 3DO versions").
